Yoga Day celebration at SSFC
On 21st June, World Yoga Day was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm at Satellite School for Children. The celebration started with a motivating speech by our yoga instructor, Ms. Alpa. She explained the kids the importance of performing yoga, which helps one to lead a better life. Our tiny tots performed various forms (asanas) with ease and perfection. After the synchronized chanting of ‘Omkar-mantra’, students performed ‘Surya-Namaskar’ followed by various sitting and standing asanas. The celebration concluded with encouraging words from our principal, who inspired us to practice yoga every day to remain fit and healthy.

Our playgroup (Early Child Care) students came back to school in full spirit wearing polka dot dresses. After almost 2 months of break, the little ones took a while to settle in but our teachers, who were in their Polka dot attire too made it as comfortable for the children as possible. The little cherubs spent their time playing with their favourite classroom toys, spent quality time with their teachers and finally went back home with polka dot balloons, with a promise to return the next day!
