Christmas Craft Take Away for Senior K.G. Students

It’s time for Christmas and our senior K.G. students filled their cup of cheer with a special session of Christmas craft. They were thrilled to learn how to make a Christmas tree by folding papers. The classrooms were filled with joy and laughter, marking the spirit of the festivities as the little ones enjoyed their activity with their friends and teachers.

‘Hop, Pick and Place’- A Fun Exercise Our little munchkins of Playgroup (Early Child Care) enjoyed a session of hopping like kangaroos, picking up the colourful blocks from one side and putting them on the other. The little ones were too excited to move about and play this little game that strengthened their colour concept as well.

Blue Day for Playgroup (Early Child Care) Children

What a fun-tastic time our Playgroup (Early Child Care) students had as they celebrated ‘blue’ day at school. They came dressed in blue and were delighted to see their teachers wearing the same colour too. The theme of the blue day was ‘Ocean’ and accordingly the classrooms were decorated with different aquatic creatures found in seas and oceans. Teachers also arranged for special games such as fishing game, blue dropper games, etc. Students used ear buds and dabbed colours on the octopus which was their takeaway for the day. The fun quotient increased as they sang ‘machli jal ki rani’ and danced to the tune of ‘Baby shark’ with their friends and teachers.

A Day Outing to Varun Farm ( Junior K.G. Students)

A Day Outing to Varun Farm ( Junior K.G. Students) Going for picnics with school friends and teachers is really exciting for students of all ages. Our junior K.G students’ joy knew no bounds when they visited Varun farm for a day outing. After receiving a warm welcome from their favourite ‘Donald Duck’ , the little ones entered the premises filled with fun activities. They had a great time swinging, sliding, rope walking, jumping on the trampoline etc. Post a yummy lunch, the tiny tots enjoyed a puppet show followed by a dance session. Soon, the picnic came to an end and the children sipped on to their lemonade and boarded their Wingers to head back to school. They couldn’t wait to meet their parents and share with them their day’s experiences.

Revising Numbers the Playway

As the teachers gave wooden cut outs of numbers ( From 1 to 5) , the tiny tots of playgroup (Early Child Care) eagerly matched them to the numbers written on the floor. Through this play way method, the little ones revised their knowledge of numbers.

Our little students of Junior KG explored their creative skills and made cognitive advances through paper collage activity. They made beautiful, colourful butterflies and sun with bits of paper. Apart from being an enjoyable activity, they indirectly learnt about proportions, while refining their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

A Visit to Iskcon Temple ( Playgroup (Early Child Care) Students)

Little ones of Playgroup (Early Child Care) were taken to Iskcon temple , where they sang songs to praise the glory of Lord Krishna. It was a peaceful experience for the students where they took a glimpse of the idol and received the ‘prashad’ too. It filled us with so much pride to see the tiny tots maintaining decorum inside the temple premises.

A Trip to Varun Camp ( Nursery Students )

What a fun-filled day it was for our students of Nursery at Varun Camp! As soon as they reached the camp, they received a hearty welcome by their favourite ‘Donald Duck’. The little ones couldn’t get enough of the swings, slides, jungle gyms , trampoline et al. It was reassuring to witness the tinytots enjoying rope walk and tyre walk with so much confidence. A ride on the tractor train and the special puppet show arranged for them made their visit to Varun camp even more worthwhile.

An Assembly on ‘Say no to Plastic’

The rising usage of plastic and the hazards by it is rising at an alarming rate. To sensitize our students from an early age and generate awareness, students of Senior K.G. conveyed the harmful effects of plastic usage in a special assembly. Through speeches and a dance performance , the little ones emphasized on the dangers associated and urged everyone to stop using plastic items like straws, spoons, bags etc. It was an educative assembly that successful etched the important message in the minds of students and teachers..
